Join us for an all-day dancing, eating, and playing affair under the tent or out in the fresh air. Rain or shine the picnic is held from 1:00 pm - dusk at the Oak Forest Park District Pavilion, 15601 S. Central Ave. Picnic lunch will be served at 3:30. Bring your own beverages - but no glass bottles. Party Doll will be spinning the dance tunes. This picnic is for PREPAID guests only. No "dance-only" tix or walk-ins. Theme dances are a big part of club activities. Get creative and help make every dance memorable! Join us June 26 and get wild at our CrazzzyTee Shirt Night. Up next is the Club Tee Shirt Night on June 26. Then our Sports Superfan Dance is scheduled for July 24. See you on the Elk's beautifrul solid wood dance floor. Two Sunday night classes are scheduled at a NEW location. Lessons will be taught from 5 p.m. until 6:55 p.m. at Bobby McGee's, located at 10139 S. Harlem Ave. Richard Cooper and Judy Leslie will teach West Coast Swing - Basics 1 and West Coast Swing - Completing the (22 total) Basics. Download the flyer for details. A $2.00 discount off the regular $7.00 admission price is being offered to members of the Chicago Jitterbug Club and any of its sister clubs at the privately run, Midweek Dance Break. Show your membership card at the door to take advantage of the special price. DJ Party Doll will be playing Ballroom, East Coast Swing, (Slow) Hustle and West Coast Swing on the first and third Wednesday nights at the Elks Lodge, 4428 Midlothian Turnpike.
